Aline Ghilardi is a Brazilian paleontologist specializing in ichnology of Mesozoic reptiles and paleoecology of Mesozoic ecosystems.
She earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees in 2008 and 2010 from the Universidade Federal de São Carlos, and received her PhD from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 2015.
Aline has described a number of dinosaurs, and also authored a number of papers related to science communication, and the decolonisation of science and the scientific process.
Aline and Tito Aureliano, another Brazilian paleontologist, created the Dino Hazard science fiction franchise as a way to educate a wider range of the public on science and paleontology. The Dino Hazard franchise consists of books, comics, a video game, and toys.
