Khishigjav Tsogtbaatar is a Mongolian paleontologist specialising in hadrosaur research. He is the director of the Mongolian Paleontology Center in Ulaanbaatar.
He earned his bachelor's degree from the National University of Mongolia (Ulaanbaatar), and his PhD from Kagoshima University (Japan).
He has described, or help describe a number of dinosaurs in Mongolia, and found a way to present them by creating a travelling expedition called 'Mongolian Dinosaurs' which toured 20 countries. This helped bring light to Mongolia as possibly the best source of fossils in the world.
