Jahandar Ramezani is an American geologist working at Samuel Bowring's Radiogenic Isotope Laboratory at the Michigan Institute of Technology in the United States. He specialises in chronostratigraphy (dating the stratigraphic layers of the Earth).
He obtained his Bachelors degree in 1988 from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran (Iran); his Masters degree from Memorial University in Newfoundland and Labrador (Canada) in 1993; and his PhD from Washington University (USA) in 1997.
Jahandar was one of the scientists who described the largest dinosaur discovered, Patagotitan mayorum.
