Alberto Garrido is an Argentinian geologist and CONICET researcher working at the Museo Provincial de Ciencias Naturales “Prof. Dr. Juan A. Olsacher” (also called Museo Olsacher de Zapala, or MOZ) in Zapala, Neuquén. He specialises in researching sauropods.
He also works at the National University of Comahue in Neuquén.
Alberto has helped describe a number of dinosaurs, and has a dinosaur named after him: Aucasaurus garridoi.
