Alberto Garrido is an Argentinian paleontologist and CONICET researcher working at the Museo Provincial de Ciencias Naturales “Prof. Dr. Juan A. Olsacher” (also called Museo Olsacher de Zapala, or MOZ) in Zapala, Neuquén. He specialises in researching sauropods.
He also works at the National University of Comahue in Neuquén.
Alberto has helped describe a number of dinosaurs, and was one of the paleontologists who described the largest dinosaur discovered, Patagotitan mayorum.
