Jason Poole is an American paleontologist and paleoartist, and is the Director of Fossil Preparation at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has a specific interest in vertebrates from the Jurassic Period.
Jason was born in Philadelphia, and also grew up there. He received his Associate Arts degree in 1990 at the Antonelli Institute of Commercial Art and Photography in Philadelphia.
Through a number of expeditions, he has had the chance to travel to Argentina, Egypt, and across the United States. He has helped describe and name at least three new species of dinosaur, and has had his art featured in National Geographic.
