Jonah Nathaniel Choiniere is an American paleontologist. He specializes in the evolution of theropods from the Late Jurassic Shishugou Formation in Xinjiang, China.
He grew up in the Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary in Massachusetts, USA. He obtained his Bachelors degrees from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2002, and completed his PhD at George Washington University in 2010 in Washington, DC, USA. He is a professor at the Evolutionary Studies Institute in the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Jonah has helped describe at least nine dinosaurs.
