You Hai-Lu is a Chinese paleontologist, specializing in Chinese sauropodomorphs.
He finished his PhD at the University of Pennsylvania in 2002, and currently works for the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing.
He has described 38 dinosaurs and 11 Cretaceous birds, so possibly 49.
