Jorge Orlando Calvo is an Argentinian paleontologist.
Jorge was born in Córdoba, Argentina. He became a geologist in 1986, and got his PhD in Paleontology in 2006. He has attended universities in Argentina, the United States, and Brazil, and now works at the National University of Comahue in Argentina.
Jorge was the founder of three museums in Argentina: the Geology and Paleontology Museum of the National University of Comahue, the Paleontological Museum of Rincón de los Sauces, and the Barreales Lake Paleontological Center.
Jorge has helped describe 23 dinosaurs, and one Cretaceous bird, so possibly 24.
