A rock formation in the Neuquén province of Argentina, about 30km Northeast of Plaza Huincul.

The formation contains fossils from the Late Cretaceous (dinosaurs, turtles, crocodiles, mammals, and footprints of birds). The area of Argentina including Sierra Barrossa have been described by Philip J. Currie as the Drumheller of South America.
