Alexander Vargas is a Chilean paleobiologist, specializing in evolutionary developmental biology, or "evo-devo".
Alexander is from Chile, and earned his bachelor's in 1999 and PhD in 2005 from the Universidad De Chile. He now works as an associate professor at the Universidad De Chile in Santiago.
He was part of the group that described Chilesaurus diegosuarezi in 2015.
