Qiupa Town

Qiubaxiang

Population: 10,000

Region: Henan

Country: China

Geologic Formation: Quipa Formation

Qiupa Town (also known as Qiuba, or Qiubaxiang), is a town located in the county of Luanchuan in the West of Henan Province in China.

Qiupa Town is an English version of the Pinyin name for the town, Qiu Ba Xiang. In Simplified Chinese, the town is 秋扒乡. This name seems to translate into English as "Autumn Town", though taking the individual characters into account, it can also translate to "Autumn Grilled Town". It appears that there are some linguistic intricacies that don't translate well into English.
